Useful Information Before Your Visit to MedicalES
This guide is designed to provide you, all in one place, with essential information about your experience at MedicalES clinics. From scheduling and preparation to undergoing the test and receiving your results, we want every step to be as clear, safe, and predictable as possible.
Scheduling
Appointments at MedicalES can be made by phone, online, or in person at the clinic, depending on the type of test and the availability of each location. When making your appointment, it is important to accurately specify the type of recommended test, the anatomical area being examined, and any relevant medical information so that our team can guide you appropriately.
If the examination is to be conducted based on a referral form, we recommend that you have the document on hand and verify its validity before scheduling your appointment.
If you are unable to make it at the scheduled time, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can reschedule your appointment and make the slot available to other patients.
Before the investigation
On the day of your appointment, we recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and have your necessary documents verified. Depending on the type of examination, you may be asked to present your ID, health insurance card, referral, previous medical records, or relevant test results.
Preparation may vary depending on the type of exam, which is why you should review the specific information for each test on its dedicated page. For MRI, CT, Cardiac MRI or Coronary CT Angiography, the preparation instructions must be followed exactly so that the examination can be performed under optimal conditions.

Results
Test results are released depending on the type of test and the complexity of the case. At the time of the test, you will receive all the necessary information regarding the estimated release date and how the results can be picked up or sent to you.
Depending on the test, the results may include a medical interpretation, the images obtained, and the corresponding storage medium. For additional information regarding the release of results, the MedicalES team can provide you with direct guidance, depending on the clinic and the service you used.

If you are coming from outside Bucharest or Târgoviște, you can undergo medical tests at MedicalES with a valid referral, even if you are insured in another county, subject to the conditions applicable to services covered by insurance. To confirm the required documents and availability of appointments, we recommend that you contact our team before scheduling an appointment.
If you suffer from claustrophobia and need an MRI scan, it is important to let us know when you schedule your appointment. MedicalES machines have the widest opening on the market, and our staff is experienced in working with patients who have anxiety, ensuring that the exam takes place in the most comfortable conditions possible.
