Prof. Dr. Ana Câmpeanu

Professor Ana Câmpeanu, M.D., is a consulting neurologist at the MedicalES Izvor Center. A university professor with 40 years of clinical experience in neurology and a Doctor of Medicine, she has extensive expertise in myasthenia gravis and cerebrovascular disease, which has required close collaboration with cardiology and oncology. Neurotoxicity caused by cancer treatments, as well as the neurological implications of transplant-related conditions, are other areas of specialization in which she excels. Professor Câmpeanu continues her work driven by a passion as intense as ever to help people, dedicating her lifetime of experience to the care of her patients.

Prof. Câmpeanu played an important role in many people’s lives, influencing them and guiding them on their path to recovery.

The professor is the author of neurology course materials and textbooks. Her scientific work includes over 200 published papers, as well as papers presented at congresses and conferences, and she has participated in over 40 European and international congresses.

She has served as coordinator for numerous research contracts and as principal investigator in 18 Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials on cerebrovascular disease, atherosclerosis, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, polyradiculoneuritis, and CIDP.

Her clinical practice and experience date back to 1970, in clinics specializing in internal medicine, cardiology, and neurology, where she developed a comprehensive medical education under the guidance of distinguished professors and physicians—talented professionals with extensive theoretical and practical training.

Her practical work in neurology, combined with exemplary collaboration across all medical specialties, has led to his current, unique expertise in neurological diseases, including immunological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, CIDP, and neurological manifestations in internal medicine, hematology, pediatrics, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, and hepatology.
