Consultant Radiologist
Dr. Livia Stănciulescu is a Consultant Radiologist. With a 5-year residency experience at the Fundeni Clinic Institute and 4 years as a specialist doctor at the Bucharest Oncological Institute, Dr. Stănciulescu dedicated herself to oncological imaging diagnosis, and the last 4 years she dedicated specifically to patients with endometriosis.
Dr. Stănciulescu performs a wide range of imaging investigations in the MedicalES clinics, and her experience and knowledge in endometriosis helps patients to either get a confirmation of the diagnosis or the first diagnosis for people who do not have a name for their suffering.
Following the training courses in London and Rouen, Dr. Stănciulescu understood
the requirements of an endometriosis surgeon, thus creating an examination protocol relevant both for establishing a diagnosis and for planning the surgical intervention.
Dr. Stănciulescu’s specializations include the following imaging investigations: MRI of the pelvis, brain, spine, knee, cervical area, lumbar region, thigh, and pelvis.
In addition, Dr. Stănciulescu has extensive experience in oncological pathologies, which she diagnoses and monitors.
“I really like what I do. If it weren’t for that, I don’t think I could withstand the heavy workload. I don’t feel that what I do is hard because I get a lot of satisfaction. Patients with endometriosis are special patients, they are very tried, sensitive, but the joy they have when they receive a long-awaited answer is priceless. Often, even when the news is not very good, when we discover a very advanced stage of the disease, the relief of receiving a diagnosis after long searches is a joy. I try to have a pleasant interaction with the patients every time. Visiting the doctor doesn’t have to be a stressful time. I feel positive every time a patient leaves our clinic satisfied.”
