Professor Dr. Ana Câmpeanu is a Consultant Neurologist at MedicalES Izvor Center. University professor with 40 years of practical neurological activity, M.D., she has a special experience in the pathology of myasthenia gravis, in cerebral vascular disease, which involved close collaboration with cardiology and oncology.

Neurotoxicity caused by oncological treatments, as well as the neurological implications of transplant pathology, are other specializations in which the doctor excels. Professor Câmpeanu continues her work and has a strong desire to help people and offer a lifetime experience, all put at the service of patients.

Proffesor Câmpeanu was an important part of many people’s stories, influencing their lives, accompanying them on the road to healing.
The doctor is the author of neurology courses and textbooks. The scientific activity consisted of over 200 works published, communicated, and presented at congresses or conferences, participating in over 40 European and international congresses.

She was the coordinator of numerous research contracts and principal investigator in 18 phase 2 and 3 clinical trials in cerebrovascular disease, atherosclerosis, diabetic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, polyradiculoneuritis, CIDP.

Clinical practice and experience began in 1970, in internal medicine, cardiology, and neurology clinics, thus a complex medical training was obtained, especially benefitting from the guidance of illustrious teachers, and doctors, with grace and rich theoretical and practical training.

Dr. Câmpeanu has a unique experience in neurological diseases, including immunological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, CIDP, neurological manifestations in internal diseases, hematology, pediatrics, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, hepatology.
